Trap #11: Going after the sure thing

Going for the sure thing, as opposed to what you want, is a tempting path to follow.  But going for the sure thing is actually riskier than many think.  The sure thing can lead you to the end of a road where you just don’t want to go any further.  And so you are set back considerably.

The sure thing is what leads many people today into lives of “quiet desperation” where they are safe and successful, but are doing something that they don’t really want.
